Local Evangelist and Mexican Mission Coordinator
I served the congregation as the local evangelist and Mexican
mission coordinator from 1989 till August 1998.
During this time I have made many trips, by air, railroad and car to
Toluca, Mexico in research and support of our missions program.
During the last nine years I have and continue to teach every year
at the Sooner Youth Camp at Lake Murray
Wrote a weekly news column for the Healdton Herald for two years.
Spoke on the Small Church Growth Workshop in 1997 in Lubbock, TX
Conducted Church Growth Workshop in Salida, Colorado and Victoria,
Texas.
Wrote and publish a weekly church bulletin with a circulation of
around 300.
- 1985 - 1989 Central church of Christ, Victoria, TX.
Minister of Involvement and Mexican Missions Coordinator
Developed a comprehensive ministry program for this 600 plus
congregation.
Conducted mission evaluations in Mexico and Honduras.
Led mission teams in the U.S. as well as Mexico.
Oversaw the reconstruction project in Salvador, Central America for
Food For A Hungry World

Completed a 40 hour training program in the theory and practice of
conflict management conducted by Bernard Mayer of CDR Associates
of Bolder, Colorado.

Modifications for the Oklahoma Supreme Court Early Settlement
system.
Chaplain for the Healdton Police experience Department.
Spanish Translator for the police department of the city of
Healdton.
Computer teacher for the Adult Education Department of the Healdton
High School
Healdton, Oklahoma Lions Club as treasurer and general member three
years.
Language and Culture Awareness:
Janice and I both are conversationally fluent in the Spanish
language. We studied the Spanish language and culture in Honduras,
Central America and were graduated from the Sunset School of
Language and Culture in Tegucigalpa, Honduras in 1978. The school
was under the direction of Rudy Wray who was the resident missionary
